Celebrations were the order of the day when we met for the fist time since Lockdown restrictions were lifted. We arrived, armed with chairs, food and drink for a Picnic in Papworth Park on Saturday 31st July. Around 20 ladies gathered to enjoy a lovely afternoon, with lots of chatter and catching up with what had been going on during lockdown. Celebration cupcakes were enjoyed by all to finish off the afternoon and all agreed it was great to get back to some kind of normality after such a long period of time.
We look forward to meeting ‘inside’ for our first Members’ evening on Wednesday 15th September at the Studio for a Social Evening giving all a chance to enjoy the company of others. Please bring along any crafts or makes/bakes or ideas that have come during Lockdown to share with us all.
