PAPWORTH EVERARD WI – NOVEMBER 2021

Pudsey Bear again this year found himself on the Top Table at our November Meeting when much money was so generously donated by our members for Children in Need.

We all enjoyed a fabulous Demonstration by Madelaine Bradley: Demonstrator, Tutor and Freelance Florist. Madelaine made six amazing arrangements, and at the same time chatted about how she first got hooked on flower arranging after joining a local flower club many years ago. She gave much advice on how we can use plants and greenery from the garden to create our own arrangements.

The arrangements were donated by Madelaine as raffle prizes so many lucky ladies went home very happy at the end of the evening.

Our next meeting is our Xmas Bash on Wednesday 15^th December – we look forward to seeing you there.

We kicked off the Festive Season with a great Xmas Meal on Friday evening, 3^rd December at the George and Dragon at Elsworth. The food was excellent and, as you can see, the members had a really good evening getting into the Xmas Spirit.

Several ladies made beautiful items for the Community Group’s Xmas parcels again this year and this is a sample of some of the lovely items made:

Our last face-to-face meeting of the year was held on 15^th December when members enjoyed a fun social evening with the them being a Reindeers. Traditional Christmas fayre of mince pies, mulled wine, sweet biscuits and chocolate reindeers were enjoyed followed by a hilarious game of Reindeer Drive.

Our first meeting of 2022 will be on Wednesday 19^th January, we look forward to seeing you all again then.

From all the ladies of Papworth Everard WI we wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a Happy and Healthy 2022.

We kicked off the Festive Season with a great Xmas Meal on Friday evening, 3^rd December at the George and Dragon at Elsworth. The food was excellent and, as you can see, the members had a really good evening getting into the Xmas Spirit.

Several ladies made beautiful items for the Community Group’s Xmas parcels again this year and this is a sample of some of the lovely items made:
