February started with tea and cake at The Stove Café in Bourn to brighten up a very dreary February afteroon.
Our monthly meeting on 15th February saw many members and visitors come along to listen to a most interesting talk and presentation given by Maggie James about her experiences when living and working in Saudi Arabia back in the 1980s. Maggie quoted passages from her new novel ‘No Way Home’ and brought along signed copies for members to purchase.
Over 30 ladies enjoyed a great evening out to the Peterborough Key Theatre to see the wonderful ballet of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. A thoroughly enjoyable experience with wonderful costumes and music.
