What a fabulous experience for the Choir to sing at Ely Cathedral for their Annual Carol Service with the Papworth Hospital Charity.  The Cathedral looked splendid and very festive with a hugh Christmas Tree which shone out over the congregation as we sang ‘Winter Solstice’.

The Choir then enjoyed a festive lunch together which rounded the day perfectly.  A few members also managed a little retail therapy at Ely’s Christmas Market.

Lyrical Voices and Ely Cathedral

Ely Cathedral with Papworth Hospital Charity are once again holding their annual Carol Concert in this magnificent building. The Cathedral complex in the days of the monastery also housed the only hospital for miles around (Powchers Hall is part of what was the hospital). It is for this reason that Papworth Hospital Charity believes that Ely Cathedral is an especially relevant place to hold its service.

The Lyrical Voices Choir feel so priviledge to be singing at this event and thank the hospital charity for allowing them to do so. The Carol Service is to be held at 11am on Saturday 5th December. Tickets are available from the hospital and your ticket contact Megan Wisby on 01480 366151.
